(More customer reviews)My wife and I run a DJ business, and she's become a full party DJ in her own right, so I wanted a little something for her... and saw these. I figured they wouldn't be good enough to use for a real event, but they'd be great to have in her office. While these aren't $200 headphones, they're definitely good enough to DJ a party! They're light, comfortable, and have surprisingly good bass clarity. I got stuck at the office without my pro headphones and grabbed hers (these) to mix a set for a client appreciation day and was able to hear everything I needed to they were comfortable for the whole 3 hours.
They do not collapse or twist, just pivot about 15-degrees vertically, so it takes some adjustment if you're used to that functionality on another set of DJ headphones. The headband-length adjustment is SUPER stable - I wish mine stayed set like these!
Because the cord is disconnectable you could use a different one if you don't like the look of the flat pink one but it works fine. It has a 90-degree connector on the far end (good) but doesn't come with a 1/4" adaptor (bad) so you'll have to pick one up on your own ($2 on a popular auction site).
