Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)First i'd like to say that I am somewhat of a budget audiophile. I have about a dozen headphones, none of which are priced over $60. Until i got these my recommended budget buy was the Koss KSC75 clip-ons. However, that's all changed. I'd also like to note that I am testing these on various Sandisk players and a laptop through a Fiio E5 headphone amp.
Pros: -Very balanced sound after a few hours of burn in
-Bass is plenty punchy on "clear bass" setting
-Very lightweight and comfortable; smaller than they look in photos
-Pretty solid construction, seems like the phones will hold up to some abuse (can't vouch for the bass switch though)
-Great variety of accessories included. Mine came with about 10 pairs of tips (including bi-flange and foamies), cable wrap, carrying case, over-the-ear cable guides, and a cord clip.
-The cable is rubbery and tangles far less than many others
Cons: -There is some cord contact noise, though not as much as my other iem's
-They are difficult to use while excercising without the (provided) cable guides
-None of the provided tips offer ideal noise isolation. Aftermarket foamies work best
Other Thoughts: -They don't have the high-end sparkle of certain higher-end headphones (e.g. Yuin pk3/ok3) (whether this is good or bad depends on you listening preferences)
Bottom Line: for people who are looking for budget IEM's, there is no better choice at anywhere near this price. I myself will be buying several more sets as gifts.
