(More customer reviews)These headphones are terrible. I have used the MDR-A35G model for years to workout. I used to buy a new pair every four or so months. They were lightweight, had a long cable and fit perfectly. I loved the way they were designed to go into the ear vertically so that the music was loud. They were light and best of all unnoticeable while working out.
These new so-called replacement headphones don't fit right, don't sound as good and worse of all have a short cable so that it is not possible to keep my IPod in my pocket or on the front of the treadmill while working out or running. Sure it comes with a stupid extension cable to add an extra foot or so but the weight of the plug is irritating. I will never understand why Sony discontinued the MDR-A35G model if favor of this crap. I bought it once but I will not buy it again. I am still looking for a decent replacement. BTW, I have also noticed that while the original price of these new headphones was $29 they are now giving them away. I have seen them at around $14. I take that to mean that consumers are not falling for it and are not buying them.
