GE DECT 6.0 Digital Wireless Silver Headset (28105EE1) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is the perfect unit for my home office. It stays docked until I need to place or receive a call. I've changed the "around the ear" clip to the "over the head" support for additional comfort. To make a call, simply turn on the HANDset, then the HEADset, then dial on the phone. Once connected, you can disconnect the HANDset and the call continues on the headset. It'd be nice if the handset could be configured to auto-mute when the headset is connected, but that's a minor point.
The range of the unit lets me easily walk around my entire office, although I haven't taken it to other floors.

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This item, 28103ee1 is no longer produced by GE or Thompson. A quality control problem from Chinese suppliers lead to GE pulling this item from the market.
A item number 28015ee1 is still being sold but it will not work with the base stations listed. Do not order this item.
In fact, according to a leading consumers magazine, GE is getting out of the cordless home phone business altogether. So stay away from GE phone and accessories.
