(More customer reviews)I purchased the Plantronics headset with noise reducing microphone for use in my home office. I work for a midwestern retail company, taking incoming store calls. One of the most important qualifications for my job is "no background noise". I have a small dog who alerts me of neighborhood activity, so I was concerned about barking coming through the microphone. A few days ago I was in a meeting using the headset and I forgot to close my office door. Of course the dog barked an alert. I closed the office door and appologized for the noise. No one in the meeting heard the dog! I am very impressed with the noise reduction quality! Additionally, the unit is comfortable for a full day at work. I like the movement options of the microphone so I can get it just right. I have no problem with incoming sound. The connection is clear and crisp. As an aside, I use the Plantronics headset with the Plantronics M22 amplifier and the most inexpensive phone I could find. This set up seems to work great for my application and I am very pleased with the purchase.
