(More customer reviews)I checked Consumer Reports for its recommendations on noise cancelling earbuds and the AKGK390NC buds were rated number one. Consumer Reports was spot on. Even when my iPod was not playing, the earbuds blocked a lot of the ambient noise that can be annoying on long flights. I must admit, though, it's hard to wear them at work, but I can't hear people that come into my office.
